How do I get six pack abs as quickly as possible

 Six Pack! Every body loves it. (Not to mention, including me!!)



Points to be noted to achieve the fantastic abs:

  1. Abdominal muscles are only a part of muscle groups in our body.
  2. Every part of the body, majorly to mention - Face, Neck, Shoulders, Arms, Back, Abs, Obliques, Gluteus, Quads, Hamstrings, Calves needs to be trained to avoid muscle imbalance and medical conditions thereby.
  3. There is nothing called face fat reduction, belly fat reduction, thy fat reduction in isolation. The only thing possible is overall body fat reduction!!! Yeah. Let’s admit it.
  4. Muscles are made of fibers which are made of tissues and cells. Cells are made of Complete protein. Hence, to increase or retain the muscle size one needs a complete protein.
  5. Our general body anatomy is, the bones are covered by muscles, which are covered by fat and excess water, which are covered by skin. (Of course, everywhere nerves and blood is flown). So one needs to reduce body fat & excess water retention to define the muscles beneath the skin.
  6. How much body fat is to be reduced?! On a general note from 12% body fat and below that, six pack is shown.
  7. To give a broad idea, one needs to
    1. Be in a caloric deficit (drop by 15% to 20% than the maintenance calories) to reduce body fat.
    2. Train body (Weight training, Calisthenics) to increase the muscle size & strength,
    3. Reduce sodium (Below 6 mg per day) to reduce excessive water retention.
  8. To attain all the above, depending on one's determination and discipline it may take months or years to see a six pack. On a prudent basis, to reduce 1% body fat, it may take 20 - 30 days. Based on above information one may calculate how many months would it take to come to 12% body fat from the existing number so as to see the six pack.
  9. How to calculate existing body fat?
    1. One may approach a nutrition center.
    2. One may use body fat caliper.
    3. One may assess his/her situation based on proforma body fat% images.
